Enhance your forest bathing experience with a sound bath.

What is a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is an ancient practice of using various sound frequencies to achieve a relaxed and stress-free state. Sound baths improve physical and mental well-being.

How does it work?

There is no “bath” that involves water. Instead, you will be bathed in sound frequencies. These frequencies are thought to relate to certain chakras of the body. These create feelings of calm and connection.

Manda Marble is our sound therapy guide at Into the Wild Walks. She is a mixed media artist, songwriter, musician, and most recently received certification as a sound therapy guide. Manda uses crystal bowls, a drum, singing bowls, chimes and rattles in the sound bath that she offers.

You have the option of adding a 30 minute sound bath on to your forest bathing walk. This is a great way to enhance the overall experience.

What are the benefits?

Relaxation!

Sound baths are for everyone from every walk of life. It is not a “woo-woo” --as some might think :) — but rather a really awesome way for all human beings to wind down, slow down, and relax for a little while. Allowing yourself to be still and simply listen and feel vibrations of sound is an extremely calming practice. As we all know, feeling calm leads to lower blood pressure, reduced heart rate and all the benefits that come with that.
